JHC – Multiplex

Project Description: it’s full steam ahead for the $256.7 million Joondalup Health Campus (JHC) Development Stage 2 expansion.

Full hospital expansion works on top of the previously approved early works already underway such as increasing capacity in the Emergency Department.

The first package of early works includes creation of a 12-bay infectious diseases unit within the emergency department which could improve how the hospital manages patients diseases such as COVID-19.

It also includes creation of a three-bay Behaviour Assessment Urgent Care Clinic within the ED to safely care for patients affected behaviourally, including those who are affected by drugs and alcohol.

Hydraulic scope of works:

• Water supply, potable, non-potable and recycled systems
• Sanitary plumbing and drainage
• Trade waste drainage and treatment
• Roof and storm water drainage, including siphon drainage
• Civil stormwater, water and sewer diversion works

Overcoming Challenges: Working within a live hospital environment

Major Achievements: Accord Plumbers were welcomed back to JHC to carry out further Hydraulic works!
